Fury over power outage spills over on local church
The Saint Francis Church and missionary school in Nanakwara, Ranchore Line is located close to the old Haji camp.
Residents of the area suffering power outages for close to 72 hours took to the streets to vent their anger over the truant service.
Demonstrators gathered near Khyber chowk, they set a few tyres alight, blocked traffic and raised slogans demanding that power to their area be restored. However, soon the relatively peaceful protest turned violent as some members started pushing against the gates of the 75-year-old church.
Some demonstrators managed to breach the outer courtyard of the church where they pelted the building’s façade with stones and damaged a Suzuki car parked within.
Police and rangers were also called in to control the situation. However, Napier police neither confirmed nor denied the incident.

It has been some kind of curse being born as minorities in any Islamic countries, especially Pakistan. The Hindus and Christians took a very bad decision of staying back in Pakistan the moment it came into existence as an Islamic state. They would have left it long back.....
How the denialist or apologist for extremist or criminal behaviour will frame it:
"I condemn it, BUT, their concerns were legitimate, and when the state is incompetent, targeting minorities is normal, and also, this church is complaining about being attacked and media showing this only, so why don't they talk about drones or media point out Rohingyas' plight and how can they climb so big gate, it looks like windows were broken from inside, defaming image of old Haji camp...?!"
The pelting on church shows that there is an inherent hatred towards other religion within the common Pakistani Muslims which comes out at such instances. Anger apologists should take note that you'll never hear of a case where a mob threw stones at a mosque out of anger. If they can retrain themselves from pelting a mosque, why no such restrain on stoning a church?
Whenever these reports come in from my great country Pakistan, my Turkish wife says that Pakistan to be fired with atom bombs and not drone strikes. I am hiding my nationality from my neighbours and office staff.
Shows the real mentality of pakistani masses. And it also shows what a delicate balance is there between peace and religious extremism.
i feel bad for the minorities of pakistan for living in such a state of fear.
