Arrest announced by DPO Swat, suspects moved to undisclosed location for further investigations.

SWAT:
Police in Swat have arrested three key suspects believed to be involved in the attack on Malala Yousafzai, Express News reported on Friday.

Malala had come under attack when she was on her way home from school. The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Eshanullah Ehsan had claimed that the militant group was behind the attack.

The arrest of the suspects was announced by the District Police Officer (DPO) of Swat, however, he did not reveal any names. The suspects were moved to an undisclosed location for further investigations.

The DPO said that the mastermind of the attack, Attaullah, will also be arrested soon.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik had earlier claimed that the attackers had been identified.

Malala Yousafzai, 14, who won international recognition for a blog about the horrors of life under the Taliban and a campaign for the right to an education, is the highest-profile target of militants in Swat for more than three years.
