Search operation: Security forces recover explosives

LOWER DIR: Security forces recovered 16 remote-controlled bombs, 78 kilogrammes of explosives, 42 meter safety fuses and six rolls of battery cells in a search operation based on intelligence information in Maidan area of Lower Dir on Thursday. They also blew up the house of a Taliban commander, Ishaq, in the Gulli Bagh area. He is involved in cross-border terrorism and currently resides in Afghanistan. Bacha Gul, Ishaq’s father, was arrested a few days ago from Sherbagh and is being held by the security forces.
