Call for justice: Residents rally against police

BAHAWALPUR: Basti Makrani residents staged a protest against police on Thursday. They carried placards with slogans against Musafir Khana SHO Ghulam Mohyuddin and Investigation Officer ASI Noor Hassan.

They said cash and gold worth Rs1.1 million had been stolen from their neighbour Sagheer’s house. Mohyuddin and Hassan took Sagheer’s family into custody and abused them. Bahawalpur DPO assured protesters of fair investigations.
