The IGFC told this to Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad, who was hearing a case in the Quetta Registry pertaining to the security situation and missing persons issue in Balochistan.
The chief justice said that the motive of conducting the hearings was to restore peace in the province and to recover missing persons.
Justice Chaudhry said that no one, including FC, police and Levies forces, feels secure in the region.
The counsel for FC, SM Zafar informed the court that there are 21,500 posts of the FC and 24% FC personnel have been deployed to protect security installations in the province and around 16,000 FC personnel are tasked to oversee security.

@Khurram:
"@SK: Shame on you for having such remarks ...."
Well well someone else too can say shame on you who hails from anywhere in the country.
@SK: Shame on you for having such remarks for Rangers. Karachi is not your property and almost all people are migrants so why singling out Rangers as people from Punjab on deputation?. You people are migrants as well from India and are not natives as well and Karachi is not a soul property of One Ethnicity that came from India. Also Performance of Rangers is commendable and they dont take sides and if you want Rangers to go back to Punjab then i am sure the next day Karachi will fell into a Civil War and you will not be able to comment from your cozy home. Rangers dont kill people at all and Ethnic hatred must not be transformed into Professional incompetence remark. Rangers are the best thing for Karachi but it is a bad thing for Thugs and Political Mafia in Karachi so you guys are rebuking Rangers.
@Maria
Your information is incorrect that over 50% are Pashtun in Balochistan. Actually their number is between 35-35%. There should be Pashtuns of Balochistan and Baloch of Balochistan according to their population. Don't make incorrect assertions based on incorrect information.
@Beatle
You are falsely influenced by the state propaganda. Has anyone ever presented any such proof. No, because there is not any. In fact FC personnel are getting double salaries since they have taken over the province. Their normal salary plus security allowance for aiding civil power, paid to them currently.
@lovePak: But if over 50 % of the population of Baluchistan are Pashtun, does that mean we can ignore 50 % of Baluchistan's population. After all Baluchistan is not just for one ethnic group despite its name.
Interestingly Maj General Khattak refers to these 6,000 personnel (12%) of the FC force in Balochistan as 'natives'. I imagine the vast majority of these people are Pushto speakers like the General himself. General sahib, it is the Baloch natives of Balochistan who rebelling and not the Pushto-speaking ones. Could you be more precise and tell us how many Balochi-speaking recruits are there in the FC or is it a secret being withheld from us on grounds of 'national security'. .
Although it is a strikingly low number, the source should specify the Pathans from Balochistan. Because a huge number of the people of Balochistan aren't classified as Balochis, rather as Pathans. And it is native to Pathans also. At least 60% of the FC in Balochistan should be native though.
How the native tribal baluchs will join FC, when they are paid multiple salary by the separatists, and too in US $.
He didn't have to spell it out, performance proves it... FC in Baluchihstan's attitude towards locals and their harsh treatment is proof enough that they consider locals as enemies and inferior people and FC acts with full impunity and kills at will Same attitude is visible from Rangers in Karachi who have come from Punjab on deputation and enjoy ridiculous persk legally and illegally... they occupy all important places and kill people at will. Worst of all, during any riot of Karachi, rangers are in their bunkers making sure they are not in harm's way So long as things go this way, Pakistan's chances of succeeding as a unit are very dim
@Zahid Khan: There is difference, whether u r Baloch native or Baloch I am sure that out of 12% none is Balochi.
@Hasan: Only the one in Balochistan. The one in KPK in under a different DG.
Thats the main problem concerning FC, its alien to Balochistan. KPK FC is 100% manned by Natives and Same is the case of Punjab Rangers. Fc should also be 100% natives of Balochistan personnel. If this had been the case then there would be less criticism on FC. Currently FC personnel belong from Balochistan and thats why don't know about the local culture and don't have any sense of responsibility. Immediate steps should be taken to make FC an indigenous rather than a Alien force for people of Balochistan.
I feel so disgusted when I see the weak and meak replies from IGFC. His presence should have been felt by the court. He failed to protect the honor of 500 Shaheeds and over a thousand injured FC Troops from the wrath of CJ. Their Shahadat, blood and sweat and their battle for the country has been discarded by the court which is contempt of the blood of the shaheed troops.
Is this the entire FC or just the ones who are in Baluchistan?
