A schoolteacher in Sadiqabad city, in Rahim Yar Khan District, Punjab on Wednesday filed an application in the sessions court, alleging that she was kidnapped by her student and gang-raped by him and his friends.
She also claimed they demanded her family to pay Rs200,000 as ransom to release her.
The court ordered the local police station to lodge an FIR against the culprits. Saadia* told The Express Tribune that on June 14, her student, Afzal, offered to give her a ride to the school principal’s home after school.
While on their way, Afzal’s friends intercepted them and abducted her, taking her to an unknown place, where they raped and tortured her.
Upon her release, Saadia* went to the police to lodge an FIR, but they refused to take any action. She then approached the court for action.

These kind of things happen because of WRONG police system. Why would they not register her case? Unless we replace 1861 colonial police system criminal will have upper hand.
