The conference covered astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology and satellite communication. Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics (Ispa) in charge Dr Jawaid Iqbal said that the conference provided an opportunity for academia, investors and entrepreneurs to get together and identify opportunities for collaboration in space science and technology. “We are now introducing a MSc programme in space science at the Karachi University (KU), in addition to our existing post-graduate and doctorate programmes.”
