Pakistan defeated Thailand 3-2 in the Al-Rashidiya international Volleyball Tournament in Dubai to register their third win in five matches. Pakistan defeated UAE in the first game before going down to Tunisia 3-0. However, they bounced back to defeat Saudi Arabia 3-2 before outplaying Thailand.
According to Pakistan Volleyball Federation President Muhammad Yaqoob, the team is vying a finish among the top three teams in the tournament. “I am satisfied with the performance, and the tournament will only help the seniors’ team to prepare for the South Asian Games in February,” Yaqoob told The Express Tribune.
