ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced on Tuesday that the defunct Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) will be revived on October 18, but without the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), reported Express News.
Speaking to the media outside the Parliament House, Rehman said that a meeting has been called in Islamabad for the revival of MMA. He added that they had tried unsuccessfully for two years to bring the JI back in the body.
The revived MMA will consist of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, Jamiat Ahle Hadees, Islami Tehreek and JUI-Samiul Haq faction.

Do you ever notice how these Islamic party "leaders" try to increase their "stature" among Pakistanis, but they fail to gain height even though their WIDTH ever increases!
MMA was flop due to their performance and I am sure that JI will dissociate from JUI. Shaking hand with Maulana is like suicide now. Maulana reputation is not more than a sold out leader. You can put him on a sale at any time.
