The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), while taking disciplinary action against all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, issued a show-cause notice to him on Tuesday for his comments against captain Mohammad Hafeez, reported Express News.

Razzaq created controversy by blaming the captain for his exclusion from the World Twenty20 semi-final against Sri Lanka, which Pakistan lost by 16 runs, describing the decision as "illogical and taken only by Hafeez."

The all-rounder had said, “If he has dropped me, he should say that it was his [Hafeez’s] decision to drop me, and that he is the captain and it’s his planning.”

Razzaq was dropped from the team after a 17-ball 22 against Australia to make way for Sohail Tanvir in the playing-XI.

truth is we needed razzaq no matter what anyone says. He has been treated like a player 'on the side' which is hilarious, razzaq is one of the best all round players pakistan have. He stayed uiet when he was put to he side before but now when he speaks up he is issued a notice?
