PCB issues show-cause notice to Razzaq for Hafeez comments
Razzaq created controversy by blaming the captain for his exclusion from the World Twenty20 semi-final against Sri Lanka, which Pakistan lost by 16 runs, describing the decision as "illogical and taken only by Hafeez."
The all-rounder had said, “If he has dropped me, he should say that it was his [Hafeez’s] decision to drop me, and that he is the captain and it’s his planning.”
Razzaq was dropped from the team after a 17-ball 22 against Australia to make way for Sohail Tanvir in the playing-XI.

truth is we needed razzaq no matter what anyone says. He has been treated like a player 'on the side' which is hilarious, razzaq is one of the best all round players pakistan have. He stayed uiet when he was put to he side before but now when he speaks up he is issued a notice?
Yes, I would also like to endorse the view that Hafeez shoud be put on explanation as to why Abduur Razzak was droped from the semifinal team and why Soab Malik and Shahid Afridi, being off the colour and who contributed nothing but repeatedly loss to the team were included.

Muhammad Hafeez made a big mistake his decision not to include Abdul Razaq was not good.
Abdu Razzaq is one of the best Pakistani Player who has always helped Pakistan out of crisis. It is not him but the board who owes explanation to the nation for discriminating against him

I thought the PCB culture had changed with Mr. Butt's departure. Instead we still have the thin egos and big stick wielding that sunk Pakistani cricket in the past. Clearly the team has flaws that could be fixed. Without a healthy debate, wither cricket in Pakistan.
Rather PCB should investigate as how Friends were selected as Playing Eleven instead of Merit.

@Shahrukh Kazmi: Because in Pakistan if someone does not complain, our people will eat him alive. Moreover, Sehwag did complain. Media was doing the complaining for him. Also, there were certain elements in the BCCI who were supporting Sehwag. There was no need for him to complain.
i think so it was a hafeez mistake he did not give chance Razzaq bhai in semi final and Asad, both are good players as compare to Afridi, Imran and Sohail

Another ridiculous decision by PCB! When they will start learning from their mistakes?...First Yousuf and now Razzaq.
Look at Sehwag he never complained he was also ignored in important and most of the matches played in WT20 so i dnt know why we Pakistanis always have to complain and this shows how much unity we have in our team, we lost accept this fact it was a whole team failure don't blame only hafeez for that.
Razzaq was ignored and in fact dishonoured by Shoaib malik in 2007 and destroyed his almost 2 year cricket and now Hafeez is going to destroy his career. Only Younas Khan took advantage of his talent in 2009 T20 worldcup by bringing him in the side.
