SC appoints prosecutor in contempt case against Malik Riaz
The hearing was headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal and Justice Ejaz Chaudhry.
The registrar on the Supreme Court’s directives presented a list of senior lawyers today.
The judicial bench turned down the request of putting Riaz’s name on the Exit Control List (ECL).
When Riaz’s counsel, Dr Basit requested the court to grant immunity from court hearings to his client, Justice Afzal said that the court will only take a decision in this regard after hearing the statements from all respondents.
The court adjourned the case for an indefinite period of time.

So this case will remain between Mother and Daughter. Retired Uncles and family friends are being appointed. Now since both father, son and their family members have been badly exposed what is left behind to investigate.
@Jibran: You hit it right on the bull's eye. Thanks for being logical and honest. This is the only country in the world where judges are not neutral and appoint prosecutors of their own choice. Next they would select witnesses too! Wait a minute they have already done that in the Memo case where they chased M. Ijaz and made him the only witness. Judges should have no connection with either the prosecution or defense for justice. Cheers, Mirza
Judge, Jury, Defense, Prosecutor, all should be appointed based on the whims of Ch. Iftikhar, the father of the person who was taking bribes to the tunes of 100s of millions to influence court decisions.
Just waiting for the time when the court will nominate the defence Lawyer too.
