Relative improvement: Security situation better, says K-P governor

Governor adds there is still need to maintain complete alertness to avoid any untoward situation.

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar has said that the prevailing security situation in the province and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas cannot be described as ideal, but is still much better compared to the past few years. There is still need to maintain complete alertness to avoid any untoward situation, he said while presiding over the 31st meeting of the Apex Committee in the province, which was attended by the K-P Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Peshawar Corps Commander Lt Gen Khalid Rabbani, Chief Secretary Ghulam Dastagir Akhtar, Home Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan, and IGP Akbar Khan Hoti, besides the heads of other law enforcing agencies.
