Development projects: Monitoring cell to keep track

GUJRANWALA: A development monitoring cell will be established at the commissioner’s office to monitor and oversee timely completion of projects, it was decided at a meeting on Saturday. Commissioner Abdul Jabbar Shaheen said the cell should file a daily report. The DCOs also gave briefings about the development projects in their jurisdictions. The meeting was told that there were 889 projects ongoing across the division. Of these 214 are in Gujranwala, 446 in Sialkot, 64 in Gujrat, 86 in Narowal, 40 in Mandi Bahauddin and 49 in Hafizabad.
