Spokesperson Ahsanullah Ahsan said in the statement that TTP was a theoretical organization based on the fundamentals of Islam which practices all its matters in the light of Islamic orders.
“As Imran Khan is a liberal, secular person and so is his party, we deny all baseless news stating that we have offered to provide him security for his so-called peace rally,” said Ahsan.
The statement further said that the “mujahideen” were not so worthless that they would be deployed “to protect a westernised and secular personality”.
“Imran Khan's so called peace march is not in sympathy of drone-hit Muslims; instead it is a try by him to increase his political height,” said the TTP spokesperson, adding that they, therefore, did not need any sympathy from him.
The statement also said that they would not reveal their plans against anyone as that would be against “military tactics”.
Ahsan further said that TTP has divided Pakistani politicians into two categories, both of which were “slaves of the West”.
“One are those who remained in power after coming into the being of TTP; they have cleared their enmity to Islam and Mujahideen by their actions like PPP, MQM & ANP etc,” said the statement, adding: “The others are those who have not yet gotten a chance to be in power like PML-N, and PTI etc; who are secular and slaves too, but we have put a scale of enmity against them conditional to their coming into power.”

@mehsud1: I 100% agree with you!
I sincerely hope that IK and his peace kafila return safe and sound from their trip to South Waziristan. I don't for a minute doubt his good intentions but his naïveté never ceases to amaze me.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2213409/Code-Pink-campaign-U-S-drone-attacks-Pakistan-Imran-Khan-leads-peace-march.html So International start to highlight the issue, It shows march is good to make international opinion against it ..
@Falcon: AS you are aware, I am an Indian and do not support or oppose any political party including PTI. I am not questioning whether Imran's message is of peace or not. I am questioning your statement that attacking Imran would earn some hatred for TTP in a way they have not earned by killing 40000 other peaceful compatriots of your who were just gong about their business in mosques, markets, playgrounds and school.
Also even if Imran's motives are purse I would like to questionyour assumption that negotiating with Taliban is effective in securing peace. The Nizam-i-Adl agreement in Swat after which the TTP said they do not believe in Pakistan constitution and will try to ipose Sharia over whole of Pakistan should not be forgotten. Unless Imran agrees with the goal of Pakistanis living under Sharia instead of te present constitution, I am not sure how negotiating with these people wil help secure peace for Pakistanis - which I certainly agree is a valid and desirable goal.
Imran sahab am from south waziristan, gadawg village ladha. Come to this place u will b our guest. A true pathan can never say anything to his guest if if he is his enemy..U R OUR ONLY HOPE IN THIS PERIOD OF DARKNESS. DEATH TO BHUTTOS AND DEATH TO NAWAZ, ASFANDAYAR WALI AND last but not the least altaf marasi. one more thing dont add "shaheed with benazir but if u cant do that then add shaheed firon, and ghazi with ibless (as he is still alive) this is where the standard of these respectufull terms have dropped !
Its strange that the same people who TTP behead, PTI and Imran are asking for protection from them. At the same time they say army are heroes. Erm...what is IK doing?
@gp65: To all your questions: Most of the steps taken by human beings anywhere with any intention (even noble ones) have political repercussions. All organized crime syndicates like TTP are powerful political players. The bottom line is this, either we can stop the war by negotiating & eventually pushing TTP back or keep putting more innocent people into the fire. That's all IK is trying to achieve in my humble view, which is to prevent further bloodshed on all sides. If that does not count as a message of peace, I don't know what else will.
Succumbing to the demands of the terrorists and extra-constitutional authorities the TTP. If they government cannot provide the protection they must immediately resign or the military should take over after sacking the government.
@gp65 Thank god someone is asking intelligent questions. Otherwise TTP and PTI-trolls have equally strong and extremist views. They never try to think logically and always go for impulsive responses. I like IK but his followers have no idea the kind of politics he is playing and plainly believe in everything he says.
@Pakistani Pashtoon Muslim: Excuse me?
@Falcon: "Why put a moralistic spin on a political observation?"
So basically you are saying that what is driving Imran to do this march is politics NOT moral outrage at drones.
"If that messenger of peace is itself attacked"
Ah, so Imran is a messenger of peace. But the women and kids in Moon Market, Meena Bazaar, volleyball playground etc. who were mowed down by TTP were war mongers.
"will dramatically reduce the political space available to TTP"
So you see TTP not as terrorists but political players with legitimate political space as long as they make nice with Imran - regardless of how many soldiers they behead.
Imran Khan is a brave person. May Allah Help Him. Imran Khan is on path truth. InshahAllah he will be successful in this peace mission.
i Think shouldn't go to the wazireistan? it's my opinion and must remember If Imran is going to he waziristan for the upper their political height? *
May God help us all. Aameen.
@gp65: You wrote "@Falcon: “If TTP does anything absurd, this will be the beginning of their end.” Interesting statement. So you are saying that the lives of PTI supporters are somewho more valuable than the 40,000 people who have been killed by these brutes?" I tend to agree if TTP does anything against the top rightwing parties like PTI or PML-N, it might be the beginning of its end. TTP and likes draw their power, funding and popularity on the basis of this pyramid of rightwing parties. Once that base turns against them the pyramid would tip over and their legs would be cut off. Even Taliban are not that stupid and the confidence of PTI is not baseless. Cheers, Mirza
@gp65: Why put a moralistic spin on a political observation? Nobody is saying any human being's life is more valuable than the other. All I am saying is that some people in Pakistan are willing to give space for negotiation with militants because there are leaders like IK who are still hopeful about a better negotiated outcome. If that messenger of peace is itself attacked, that will dramatically reduce the political space available to TTP and accelerate their demise, starting out first by dissension within their own ranks.
I have to admit that I was wrong when I said "the Express Tribune" is at the cutting edge of news reporting. I advise ET to be more careful in future and report only from authenic sources. The race to be the first to report lands you in an embarrasing situation when you have to eat your words. Anyway, PTI must go ahead with the peace march, whatever may come. "yun jaan ke ziyaan pe hum ko bhi afsos hai lekin kiya kigiye, jo reh bhi udhar ko jaati hai, maqtal se guzar kar jaati hai". Regards.
not friends anymore?
@Falcon: "If TTP does anything absurd, this will be the beginning of their end."
Interesting statement. So you are saying that the lives of PTI supporters are somewho more valuable than the 40,000 people who have been killed by these brutes? Because apparently all the people they have killed thus far in playgrounds, markets, schools, mosques has not earned the label of 'doing anything absurd' from you. If I misundersood what you were saying, please do explain what you meant.
Imran, Your point is clear and we respect that, but going to place which is lawless and run by militants, do really think its worth, risking yours as well as people lifes who will accompany you. These extremist like to live with drones and die by the drones, so don't take away their "highs" of their life style.
Please note that I am only talking about the terrorist not the innocent ones.
Thuss-nami I guess !!
Ladies and gentlement don't you think that Pakistani journalists' are investigation to much when we talk about TTP? therefore Us and many other countryie don't belieuve pk aanymore.
We stand by our leader Imran Khan and party PTI
Imran Khan will convince the TTP of the error of its ways within 19 hours. Mark my words: There will be another U-Turn to this tamasha.
@ Stewie: Only if one could read!
and TTP have been destroying schools. Go figure. sad. ..pc
No country for (a born again Islamist and) old (cricket Kaptaan)! And one sincere advise to the Kaptaan, hobnobbing with the half educated jihadists would do no good to you or the country. Stay out of it and concentrate on your cricket commentary and managing your cancer hospitals. Politics is not your cup of tea; idhar ke na udhar ke rahoge, yaar!,
So the cat is finally out of the bag. I have commented several times on ET that TTP has a definite political agenda ie to rule Pakistan one day which makes Imran Khan as its foremost competitor. Therefore, how can TTP support PTI or offer security to IK when it is eyeing the top slot to enforce sharia in the country. If the report on ET regarding security cover is correct then it is quite evident that one of the TTP faction or more supports IK because drones strike is a matter of life and death to them also. In view of the rapidly changing situation, Imran should cancel his march keeping in view of serious threat to his life from enemies of the nation and others as well and not pay heed to his supporters or enemies to jump from a high cliff and Allah would take care of him.
Maybe IK asked the TTP to temper their public language to assuage the feelings of the military? The only thing for sure is that the public posture of the TTP seems to have changed.
This report is authentic. The last we heard was just a report from the UK-based news paper.
“One are those who remained in power after coming into the being of TTP; they have cleared their enmity to Islam and Mujahideen by their actions like PPP, MQM & ANP etc,” said the statement, adding: “The others are those who have not yet gotten a chance to be in power like PML-N, and PTI etc; who are secular and slaves too, but we have put a scale of enmity against them conditional to their coming into power.” Which basically means that the Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan considers the entire Pakistan to be its enemy......
Imran Khan will go at any cost, come what may.
Wrong and false news to stop the PTI peace rally and we will not 0% afraid from this propaganda.
Should we protest or support the drones that killed Pakistanis like Baitullah Mahsood, Naik Mohammad and Illyaas Kashmiri? These drones are the only real danger to the extremists assemble in Wazirstan.
Please don't go to Waziristan, Mr. Khan. But then it is Khan who can do what nobody else does.
Better reconsider your decision, mr. Imram .
Whole Pakistan is not behind you . Only few fanatics are accepting you to be in the power while TTP is not fighting for being in power to work under the present comnstitution of Pakistan . They have their own shariya law to rule the country .
TTP needs to be appreciated for taking a stand. Unlike Imran who reealy needs to grow a beard to enter an islamic land.
i hate PTI. will never vote they are playing politics on pakhtoons blood
This is all Zardaris fault! Imran Khan said it!
If TTP fires a single shot at the Rally i think it will lead to their complete destruction. I would consider them to be the aiders of the US lead war on terror which has sacrificed the lives of tens and thousands of Pakistanis. Go Imran may Allah be with you and i am sure the entire nation is behind with you and nobody will be able to stop you from succeeding. Inshallah!
Well, you know what TTP. Your time is up. Once the tribals get onto the side of those who are trying to help them (Imran Khan). You'll have no one to recruit.
More drones = more ttp recruits.
All the best to my Quaid and Hero Imran Khan. The Great Khan. Pakistan is truly blessed and honored to have such a man in this nation.
Pakistan is the only nation in the world where the word "secular" is a bad word !! That, I think, says it all.
P.t.i's wazirstan rally has created confusion not only for our peopl and politicians but for talibans as well. T.t.p operators are in dilema whether or not they support p.t.i.
and your source is????!!!!
To TTP: Please get a life can you guys come up with a more peaceful and resourced approach to make this world a better place instead of destroying things and hiding in caves with your big guns and suicide jackets and killing innocent people. I think in Islam it has been already made clear about violence and yet you still do it and it might be appropriate time to remind you guys about your proud Mujaheedin boys who once had fun in the White House with liberal and secular personalities like Ronald Reagen not long ago it was during the SOVIET WAR.
And once more to sum up: PLEASE GET A LIFE
ET is doing all it can to disrupt PTI peace rally.
That clearly shows that how much search is done by ET before publishing any new, If you see News headlines for last 3 or 4 days.
