SUKKUR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Marvi Memon found herself in the middle of a brawl when her staff started handing out relief goods among flood victims in Mirpur Mathelo on Thursday. According to reports, police were called to control the situation, as hundreds of people, including women and children, had thronged to the former MNA’s truck and started snatching food bags from the volunteers who were distributing them. Police reportedly tried to organise the people into queues, but ultimately had to resort to using batons to disperse them. Memon, in the meantime, left the spot. The residents then organised a demonstration against the police at the Mirpur Mathelo bypass and burnt tyres.
