LG ordinance: Critics should read it first, says Memon

Sindh information minister says the new local government system is in favour of Sindh.

KARACHI: If people had read the new local government ordinance, we would not be in this position today, said Sindh Information Minister in a statement issued on Thursday. “The new local government system is in favour of Sindh.” While talking the nationalists, Memon said that the leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) should avoid the nationalists and follow the norms of democracy. “The nationalists have never been able to win a seat in the elections. They cannot even read. I suppose we can get tutors to help them read.”
