Anti-film riots: Suspects to be presented in ATCs today
Around 27 suspects detained by the Boat Basin police are also scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
KARACHI:
The Anti-Terrorism Court-III granted remand to a suspect, Mohammad Nawaz, in custody of the Civil Lines police station for one day on Wednesday. Nawaz had initially been detained by the Jackson police for his alleged role in the riots on September 21. He was handed over to the Civil Lines police as he was an absconder in the case they have registered. Nawaz, along with nine other suspects, will be presented in court today. Around 27 suspects detained by the Boat Basin police are also scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
