ISLAMABAD: A man on Tuesday died after being hit by a dumper truck on the busy Grand Trunk Road on Tuesday, the Tarnol police said. The police impounded the truck and registered a case against the driver, who escaped from the scene after abandoning the vehicle. Police said 53-year-old Munir Masih was trying to cross highway near Tarnol when he was hit. He died on the spot. The body was taken to Pims.
