Football: Struggling PMC Athletico share spoils

KARACHI: PMC Athletico drew 1-1 against Army in Faisalabad yesterday as their struggles continued in the in the Pakistan Premier Football League.

After playing a goalless first half, Army’s Abdul Rehman opened the scoring in the 65th minute which was equalised through Haroon Yousaf who scored off a penalty kick in injury time to earn his side a share of the spoils.

This is the second year that PMC Athletico has featured in the league. They finished 14th last year and this draw was their fifth out of seven matches this season. Athletico are currently sitting in 13th with only five points, while Army sit in 10th place with nine points after seven matches.
