Transporters abducted: Quetta-Karachi highway blocked

QUETTA: Truck drivers blocked Quetta-Karachi Highway for traffic in protest against the abduction of two transporters in Mastung district on Monday. Local Levies sources said armed bandits kidnapped two truck drivers early Monday morning and shifted them to some unknown location. Thereby, transporters blocked Quetta-Karachi Highway near Lack Pass area of Mastung district for hours causing inconvenience to commuters. Protesting drivers demanded early recovery of the kidnapped drivers.
