Substandard service: Authorities close three blood banks

KARACHI: The Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority sealed three blood banks - Ali Blood Bank, Al Syed Blood Bank and Emergency Voluntary Blood Bank - in Karachi after carrying out raids on Monday. They were stocking expired blood and working under extremely poor conditions, said the secretary of the blood transfusion authority, Dr Zahid Ansari.
