Football: Mehmood stars in WAPDA’s win

With the win, Wapda retained their third position in the league table with 17 points.

KARACHI: Four-time national champions Wapda crushed debutants ZTBL 4-1 in a Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match in Lahore yesterday. Former national player Arif Mehmood, who was the top scorer of the league in 2010, scored a hat-trick for Wapda. With the win Wapda retained their third position in the league table with 17 points after seven matches while ZTBL are in 15th place with four points.
