Taliban have taken decision regarding PTI Waziristan rally: Report
According to the report, TTP Spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan told a BBC correspondent that the decision was taken during an important meeting of the top Taliban leadership. The spokesperson did not reveal whether the Taliban are in favour of the peace march or against it.
The Taliban had earlier opposed the peace march and had threatened to attack PTI chief Imran Khan terming him a “liberal”.
The PTI rally against drone strikes will begin on October 6.

Imran Khan should draw a clear line, whether he is with TTP or with rest of Pakistan. his ignorance is no excuse.
If Imran is really true to his word he should take the rally to NW as announced by him and not follow the taliban,s dictation.It will send avery wrong message for the future PM to be bowing to the terrorists.
Why is this march avoiding North Waziristan? So many "innocent victims" available there......

Agree with you that TTP is a curse to Pakistan and PAkistanis should eliminate it. But Mr. Khan who is leading the rally in fact thinks there should be one more peace similar to the one in Feb 2009 with these barbarians. Also Imran had originally decided to lead the rally to NWA because that is where most drone strikes are occurring. Since then he has chickened out and changed the destination to Sout Waziristan. Assumption is that no-one will notice but people are not as naive as he thinks.

TTP is waiting to see if Imran groves his 'invisible' beard in next couple of days. Why would taliban threaten a friend and a sympathizer? Besides, talibans know that the day of march is the "no drone strike" day for SW because of likely civilian casualty and bad publicity a strike will generate! There won't be any likelihood of drones coming down and talibans can have a picnic in open for once.
Hopefully, the Taliban will grant Imran Khan a visitor's visa.
This is madness, it will not put any pressure on US and on top of that it will put participants' lives in danger. Imran, please call it off.

If talibans are against PTI march then they it means they are supported/backed by the US agencies! TTP = American agents!

The Taleban announcement is a clear indication that they would oppose PTI march in NW. Taleban consider Imran as their main opponent since its own objective is to rule Pakistan one day and Imran to become popular in their own den is totally unacceptable to the TTP.

The future PM of Pakistan had to take Taliban's permission ? My advise to Indian negotiators - cut the middleman, talk to Taliban directly.
Have they arranged an alternative spokesperson, if just before announcement, a Drone gets the announcer.
If the PTI Waziristan rally planning still moves on, it would mean that PTI and IK are aware that the decision TTP will announce a day before the rally is a favorable one.
So what we do meanwhile? Keep guessing.. The lives of innocent PTI workers are on line and its friends are not giving green light.

Probably decided that PTI will have to pay them off or be attacked and the deadline for payment is a day before the rally.
