Recovered: Bodies of two missing persons found

Police quoted Amjad as saying that his mentally-challenged son, Irfan, 16, went missing from home some 20 days back.

Bodies of two missing persons were recovered by the police in Haripur on Sunday.


The body of Maqbool, 21, was found dumped near Kangra Colony by residents of the neighbouring Model Town. Autopsy revealed that the boy was shot dead.

The victim’s father, Muhammad Ayub of Kangra village, told the police that his son left on his tractor trolley on Saturday evening and did not return.

The second body was of a teenage boy who went missing earlier this month and was found afloat at Ghazi-Barotha Barrage.

Police quoted Amjad as saying that his mentally-challenged son, Irfan, 16, went missing from home some 20 days back.
