The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that all field offices of the SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) and designated branches of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) will remain open on Saturday and Sunday for collection of taxes and duties.
According to a press release, field offices of the SBP BSC will remain open on Saturday until 8 pm and on Sunday until 10 pm. The designated branches of NBP will remain open on Saturday and Sunday until 8 pm.
The SBP has also asked all banks and microfinance banks to provide banking facilities on Sunday to facilitate special clearing by the National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (NIFT) to be held immediately after 4 pm.
