An awareness seminar in connection to World Heart Day was held by Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) on Thursday, said a press release issued by PTCL.
Federal Government Services Hospital Consultant Cardiologist Dr Inamul Haq was invited to speak on the prevention of heart diseases. Dr Haq gave explained the causes behind prevalence of heart diseases with a special focus on women and children. He appreciated PTCL for taking the initiative and providing healthcare facilities to its staff members.
PTCL Senior Executive Vice President (HR) Syed Mazhar Hussain said PTCL is the only telecom company which has dedicated medical centres across the country to provide health facilities to its employees.
