Relocation: SSP office moves to G-11

ISLAMABAD: Offices of the SSP Operations along with police’s security, establishment, archives and data, computer, public relations branch offices located in F-8 Markaz were shifted to G-11 in the new office of the district government on Wednesday. The SSP and other police offices were the only district government and police establishment offices remaining in a public place. The offices of the Chief Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and other officers have already moved to the newly constructed building in G-11. A separate building to accommodate the offices of the SSP Operations and other police branches was under construction, work on which was halted for past few months due to lack of funds, said a source in the district administration. For now, the police establishment have been allotted eight rooms in the new building.
