Maritime ties: Naval chief meets Kuwaiti counterpart
ISLAMABAD:
Commander of Kuwait Naval Forces Brigadier General Jassim Mohammad Al Ansari visited the Naval Headquarters on Wednesday. Accompanied by staff of the Kuwait Naval Forces, Jassim was received by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila. On the occasion, a contingent of the Pakistan Navy (PN) presented the Guard of Honour to the visiting dignitary. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, heads of both navies held detailed discussions on professional matters. Sandila briefed his counterpart on the Pakistan navy, regional maritime security situation and overall operational developments. Brig Gen Jassim, during his trip, is also expected to call on the minister of defence, chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff committee, and commandant Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore.
