Pakistan, denmark: Call to expand, diversify trade

"There is good space for increasing bilateral trade between Pakistan and Denmark," says Ole Moesby.

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Denmark Ole Moesby has called for exploring ways and means to further expand and diversify mutually-beneficial relations, particularly those relating to trade and investment. He made these remarks while visiting the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Wednesday, during which he discussed a broad range of topics, including bilateral trade, investment and development assistance. The ambassador said that Pakistan has enormous natural resources and lots of economic potential in various sectors; thus, there is good space for increasing bilateral trade between Pakistan and Denmark, he said. He said that Danish companies have expressed interest in investing in different sectors of Pakistan, like pharmaceutical, renewable energy, education and health.
