Pakistan, China sign mutual military cooperation agreement
Chinese delegation meets Army chief, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman.

Pakistan and China signed a document for bilateral military cooperation on Tuesday.
According to a press release by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the document was signed during a visit of Chinese delegation led by Deputy Chief of General Staff of People Liberation Army General Ma Xiaotian to Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The delegation met Army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Khalid Shameem Wynne and discussed ongoing cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
General Xiaotian appreciated the role played by the people and armed forces of Pakistan especially their efforts against terrorism. He reiterated that the cooperation in different fields between the two armed forces will continue with a renewed resolve and commitment towards each other.
The visit of the Chinese delegation commences the start of the 9th round of Pakistan-China Defence and Security Talks.
