Police officials said that six unidentified riders on three motorcycles opened fire on a car they were travelling in, a Mehran bearing registeration number S-4720 at Disco Mor area of North Karachi.
The dead were identified as Addul Waheed, Abdul Muqim, Abdul Farid and Abdul Moeed. Their nephew Salman, was injured.
The bodies along with the injured were initially taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Salman was then shifted to the Agha Khan Hospital whose condition was said to be critical.
"The incident appears to be sectarian rivalry but further investigations are underway," said DIG Akram Naeem Bharoka.
The deceased operate a coaching center situated near Abul Hassan Ispahani Road along with some copier shops. They were returning to their home from their work places when their car was sprayed with bullets.
Spokesperson ASWJ Taj Hanfi claimed affiliation to the deceased. "Five of our members were killed when assailants opened fire at a hotel located in a close proximity of this area," he said. He demanded for the arrest of killers and said that the party will announce strategy in next 24 hours.

None of them belong to ASWJ. They were peace loving guys and have nothing to do with any party, politics or sectarianism. Shame on those who are using their names.
They were just teachers and had taught more than 25000 students.
