Rain-related deaths: Two children drown in rainwater

The children were playing in stagnant rain water in Godho Detho village.

SUKKUR: Two children drowned on Saturday when they were playing in stagnant rain water in Godho Detho village near Garhi Yasin, Shikarpur. Six-year-old Saba and Peeral, 4, were playing in a puddle when Saba fell into the deep end and drowned. Peeral died while trying to rescue Saba. They were fished out by the villagers. The reports stated that the village is engulfed in three to four feet of water.
