Bin qasim: ‘Industrial zone could turn into a model’

Role of industries located in Port Qasim industrial zones and PQA in economic growth of country cannot be overstated.

KARACHI: Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry (BQATI) President Usman Ahmed said that if the government gives some attention, Bin Qasim could be made a model industrial zone of Pakistan. Addressing the annual general meeting of BQATI, he said that Bin Qasim is the only planned and organised industrial zone in Pakistan. He said that BQATI enjoys cordial and supportive relationship with the Port Qasim Authority (PQA), which is mutually beneficial to both entities and contributes positively to the overall economic activity of the region. In fact, the role of the industries located in Port Qasim industrial zones and the PQA in the economic growth of the country cannot be overstated.

port qasim is the finest industrial zone in karachi....with the multi national companies like Suzuki,Toyota and Nissan in this area it has strategic importance so more resources should be allocated here.
