KARACHI: The Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) is busy organising a Super 15 rugby event that will get underway from September 28 and will involve 14 teams.

The PRU has planned an extensive programme for the event aiming to promote Super 15 rugby in the country. The event will be held in three phases – development league consisting eight teams divided into two divisions, departmental league and the super league. The winners of all the three leagues will then lock horns in the Champions League, according to a PRU official.

Can this be correct?

14 Teams in a Super 15 rugby tournament and

the ball is an American football on a kicking tee rather than a rugby football?

Please clarify.
