KARACHI:

Baldia factory owners Abdul Aziz Bhaila and his sons Arshad Bhaila and Shahid Bhaila were separately interrogated for eight hours on Saturday.

The father and sons reiterated that they were at the factory till midnight but left after an “important person” asked them to leave. Their lawyer, Amir Mansoob Qureshi, said that the name of that person will be disclosed soon.

Presenting three fitness certificates from national and international institutes, the owners reportedly said that were no chemicals being used in the factory. According to them, power was still being supplied by the Karachi Electric Supply Company while the building was on fire and they were the ones who turned off the main switch.

Reporting losses worth Rs500 million, the owners said that the factory has three entry and exit points and instructions in case of an emergency were displayed inside.

The owners have been moved to an undisclosed location.

Thousands died and yet no justice has ben done yet there. After all Indian & Pakistani politicians are the brothers just separated by the British. They have the same blood of Amichands. Politicians will do everything possible to protect their thick skins.
