Competition: Students display skills in Urdu, English speeches

Students showcased their oratory skills at a speech competition organised at POF Model School Wah Cantonment

Wah Cantt. Students of various federal government schools showcased their oratory skills at a speech competition organised at Pakistan Ordinance Factories (POF) Model School Wah Cantonment on Thursday, said a press release.


In the English category, Saroosh Farid of FG Boys High School No 7 got first position and Hamid Ali of Sir Syed School Wah Cantonment got second position.

In the Urdu category, Anoosha Farid of the FG Postgraduate College for Women got first position and Hassan Taimoor of FG Degree College for Boys got second position.

POF Chairman Lt-Gen Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood gave away shields to the position holders. He stressed on making reading a part of routine, saying that television, Internet and radio cannot replace the habit to reading.  He congratulated the winners and also appreciated the administration.
