Education Targeted: Private school blown up in Swabi

The school’s watchman told the police that around 3am, the bomb exploded, partially destroying the school building.

SWABI: A school was destroyed by unidentified assailants in Lahor tehsil of Swabi district on Thursday. The culprits planted explosives along the boundary wall of a private school. The school’s watchman told the police that around 3am, the bomb exploded, partially destroying the school building. SHO Malook Shah, talking to The Express Tribune, said that a classroom had also been destroyed. Mazhar Ali, the owner of the school, told police that his rivals may have been behind the incident but did not take any names.
