House burgled; car lifted

RAWALPINDI:


A house was burgled and a car was stolen, in separate incidents, from the Airport area on Monday.


In the first incident, Ijaz Ahmed, a resident of Nawaz Colony, lodged a complaint with the police that thieves entered his house by breaking locks and made away with cash and jewellery worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.

Meanwhile, Nauman Adeel, a resident of Gulraiz Housing Society, lodged a complaint with the same police that his car (VV-704) had been stolen from outside his house.

The police registered separate cases but no arrests or recoveries have been made yet.

Meanwhile, a woman went missing from the limits of Civil Lines police on Monday.

Sarfraz Hassan lodged a report with the police that his wife, Nadia Bibi*, went to her office and did not return.

He suspected that she might have been abducted by Safdar*, Nawaz*, Nosheen*, Nasreen* and their accomplices.
