Flood victims loot relief truck in Sajawal

One of three army trucks loaded with relief goods was looted in Sajawal town.

THATTA: Flood victims of Sajawal town in Thatta district looted an army truck at Makli Road, carrying relief goods for victims of the district on Friday.

Three army trucks loaded with relief goods were on their way to Thatta district, when one of them was stopped and looted. The flood victims looted the ration supplies and other relief goods on the truck.

Police officials present at the scene did not take any action to stop the looting.

Moreover, flood victims of Thatta complained about lack of food and medicines in the relief camps.
