Dr Aftab Qureshi’s murder: Decision on bail application on Sept 14

KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court-III will decide a bail application submitted on behalf of the two of the accused, Azhar Ali Solangi and Imdad Ali Solangi, in the kidnapping and murder trial of neurosurgeon Dr Aftab Qureshi on September 14. The case itself will be heard on September 21. Five other men have been accused in the case, including Dr Ashok Kumar, Farooq Ahmed Leghari, Haut Khan, Abdul Aziz Barejo and Irfat Jan. The First Information Report 130/2012 was registered at the Brigade police station under sections of the Pakistan Penal Code that include offences for kidnapping and murder.
