Embezzlement: Case registered against UC secretary

A citizen filed complaint at Anti Corruption Establishment on Monday against Union Council 217 Secretary Tariq Mehmood

FAISALABAD: The secretary of a union council has been accused of misappropriation. Muhammad Azam, a citizen, filed a complaint at the Anti Corruption Establishment on Monday saying that Union Council 217 Secretary Tariq Mehmood had embezzled Rs287,000 from the union council and also taken Rs135,000 bribe from him for preparing pension documents of his brother who, he said, was a retired naib qasid.
