No record: Computer system becomes defective

FAISALABAD: The online toll collection system at Motorway (M-3) toll plaza in Faisalabad has developed some fault, The Express Tribune has learnt. Motorway officials are manually collecting toll fee with no online record. The Faisalabad Interchange, Kamalpur, has been divided into six categories for vehicle entry where drivers are being issued entry cards with manual entries by the interchange staff. Commuters are concerned that the lack of online record might give way to corruption in collecting toll taxes and make passage of stolen vehicles undetected.
