Targeted Attacks: Two people gunned down, two bodies found

A man identified as 42-year-old Ramzan Baloch was found dead near the Northern Bypass on Saturday, said the Manghopir police. They found the body on information from residents. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.


According to District West SSP Amir Farooqui, Ramzan was a resident of Gwadar and went missing on in August. Three of his friends were also reported missing, one of them was found dead in Gwadar. SSP Farooqui said that they had contacted the Gwadar police. When contacted by The Express Tribune, the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons chairperson, Qadeer Baloch said they would comment after verifying the names.

In Pak Colony, the police found the body of shopkeeper identified as Seerat Alvi, 22, in a gunny bag near Kashmir Road. They said that Alvi was shot multiple times. The body was taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi. The police suspect that Alvi was kidnapped on August 6.

An electrician, 27-year-old Shafiq, was shot dead near KDA Chowrangi in North Nazimabad. The police claim that two men on a motorcycle opened fire at him.

Twenty-two-year-old Niaz Baloch was shot dead near Nanakwara, said the Risala police. They added that Niaz was from Balochistan and worked for a private company.
