PML-N trying to break Pakistan: Altaf Hussain
“The PML-N has looted the rights of people in Seraiki and Bahawalpur provinces. Altaf Hussain, till his last breath, will fight for the rights of the people in South Punjab and Hazara,” he vowed.
He said that PML-N workers welcoming the train march of Awami Tehreek and prejudiced elements, backing those who were out to spread unrest in Sindh, was proof that the PML-N was conspiring against Pakistan. Hussain vowed that the MQM would never allow the PML-N to succeed in its nefarious designs.
Local government system
Commenting on the recently passed Sindh Local Government Ordinance and the criticism against it, Hussain said that the people who are opposing the implementation of the system in Sindh are enemies of democracy.
“The entire world works on a specific system. The local government system is the basis of democracy,” he maintained and added that the parliament has no importance without this system.
“We will bring the local government system in Sindh. Those opposing it are against Pakistan,” Hussain remarked.
“Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s so-called leaders should stop being concerned about Sindh and should think about their own province. I also want to tell those leaders that the Pakhtuns in Karachi are with MQM, not with ANP (Awami National Party),” he said.
He further called to the people of Sindh to make nationalist parties’ strike on September 13 unsuccessful by staying united.

@Blithe: what do you mean PPP saved Pakistan, PML-N is biggest nationalist party of Pakistan you can count seats of PML-N outside Punjab,every time our leaders were killed by establishment,have you ever heard Sindh's national parties than you won't complain about PPP,PPP is the only national party of Pakistan.go and check the map of united India you find Punjab in its current form didn't existed then,people joined punjab now they want separate province.I can't understand "Sindhis feel the same pain as Punjabis have felt over the ethnic politics being played by PPP",PPP saved Pakistan remember 27TH DEC 2007.You people are good at shouting,you people don't have guts to take a stand on something.if you want to break Pakistan by passing such statement,PPP have very diverse voters it's not regional party like PML-N.

Why people in Pakistan treat carving out of another province equates with the division of country. Why do not think that with another province it will be be much better to govern the area with improvement in the services. also the person of new province nee not visit the far off places in the capital for their needs. @Zahid Hussain: Mustafa kamal never did much in karachi but just polished over the work Namatullah khan's work and schemes he innitiated. They never did any work where other communities than mqm supporters live.

Most of the commentators advocated the case of one ethnic community or the other instead of Pakistan. Focus of the whole discussion should have been the merits of devolved governance system that is gaining credence all over the world for its potential to deliver good for the masses. Every ethnic community would get the dividends when means of governance along with necessary resources are entrusted to their local representative. Only the entrenched vested interests feeding on the elite friendly status quo for so many decades will be the loser.
@Awans: Mr. Awan, how can you claim that you are the real son of land, while awan claims to be descended of arabs. Can you pl go and read the history of Awan clan.?
Baloch have been living in south punjab from centuries and they are now son of land, they abandon their language and have adopted Saraiki. You kind of people are the reason, we still have muhajir in Pakistan while their second generation has born and brought up on Pakistani soil. Also one more thing, Saraiki is a separate language, its neither a difference of accent nor a difference of few words. This language has been known as "Multani" language from centuries, Even in Ain-e-Akbari , language of the area is mentioned as Multani. While in the lingual survey of India 1818, It was also identified as separate language and categorized as "Lahnda language" and it was clearly mentioned that Lahnda is a distinct language. Glossary of Multani language was published in Lahore 1902. So Pl stop advocating wrong things,

I agree with Mr. Altaf Hussain, before going further on it, I would like to clarify I am not even voter or supporter to his party. I am wondering why his party is this much disciplined? Why the were first gave the shadow budget and Economic Reform Plan? Why they are trying to move out of Karachi to have seats in Punjab and KP? Ans: They want to be the national party by having presence in all the four provinces, does this show any bad intention? If they are purely ethnic bunch of terrorist (As per the PMLN) then why they are trying to reach every Pakistani with their agenda? Yes, it is right, they came on the name of Mohajir which was wrong, I still consider it as the only big mistake of a party who has best of the educated and literate people in it, how come they make a mistake, starting politics which is meant to serve the masses can't be limited to any single ethnic group. However, they have rectified the their mistake by changing the name from Mohajir to Motihidda. I, personally want Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif (who first termed this party a "terriorst group") to clear it nation was he right then or wrong today, when one of his senator says, we have a similar agenda. Secondly, through this note, I want convey a message to MQM, they have best of educated, skilled and well mannered people, why don't they started visiting the entire Pakistan? When they will start having many with them on board? When they will go beyond 25 seats?
Personally I want not only to the MQM but to the entire political parties to the national politics which should not be limited to the "fixed" constituencies? Their should be presence of all parties every where in Pakistan. This will bring the best of people in politics.. My personal political agenda is Pakistan and its people.

This SPLG ordinance is also like a business deal, sharing cities between two parties. They are not sincere in establishing bridges between people but through such rogue system, they are trying to create disharmony and hate in society. People of Pakistan will never allow PPP-MQM's nefarious design against Sindh and Pakistan to succeed. People of Sindh laud the support of PMLF, ANP, PMLN, JI, JUI, Nationalists & progressive forces, civil society, media.

Altaf Husain is a true and self-less leader. He has no personal agenda to become President/Prime Minister or an MNA/MPA, what-so-ever. There is no such self less leader neither in Pakistan nor in South East Asia. He always thinks only for Pakistan and given a well disciplined political party of educated and enthusiastic young people. This party is an example for others to follow.
My Friends, PML (N) dream to fly alone and has superiority complex, Ch. Nisar in NA always blaming govt. If we see the past of PML (N) it is full of quarreling. Anyone who lived in Karachi during the Musharraf era can witness the benefits of the local government system that MQM was governing under up till 2008 when the PPP took over. Development hadn't took place in Karachi at such speed as long as I can remember.

Is the Pak-India dialogue and their liberal visa regime were important news in Pakistan or Altaf Hussain's claim? can any journalist in Express Tribune argue and defend. How long Pakistani media will bow before MQM? And please tell us is this is news that one person makes allegations against another? The PMLN has one agenda: that is to get power at any cost. Nawaz Sharif should respect the resolutions passed by Punjab assembly and start participating in Commission. It has ruined south Punjab and made it a breeding ground for terrorists who are wrecking havoc throughout Pakistan now.

Guide the people? I believe its more like misguiding people. All he talks about is division of teh country and distinguishing between Sindhi's and Punjabi's and Muhajir's and Pakhtoons. My friend, his party has ruled in Karachi before, when in the past many decades target killing stopped in Karachi alone? His party has never been able to solve the problems of Karachi so he is in no position to 'guide' anyone. As far as his personal safety is concerned, its evident his "jeena-marna" is not with Pakistan. That pretty much sums it up.
So when will now Shahbaz Sharif go to Nine Zero?
