6th Road flyover: Encroachers told to clear away

Rawal Town Administrator Saif Anwar Jappa said they will confiscate all goods found to be encroaching upon roads.

RAWALPINDI: Shopkeepers encroaching on alternate routes being used during 6th Road flyover’s construction have till Sunday to clear out.

Rawal Town Administrator Saif Anwar Jappa on Friday said they will confiscate all goods found to be encroaching upon the roads and auction them.

A team of the administration also visited Chandni Chowk, National Market, Said Pur Road, Stadium Road, Farooq Azam Road, Kurri Road and asked shopkeepers there to remove their items from roads by Sunday.

Representatives of the local trader unions said they will comply with the order.
