Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reassured fans that there is no tension between him and Liverpool’s owners following a questionable transfer window. While the Liverpool manager admitted that a lot had been learnt, he wants his players to ‘man up’ in the face of injuries as they look to battle through until January with a limited squad, according to Express.co.uk. The club faced criticism after failing to replace Andy Carroll, who joined West Ham on a loan, leaving only two senior strikers. “We are going to be stretched to the limit between now and January,” said Rodgers. “I’ve spoken to the players and told them if you get little niggles or little injuries you’ve got to man up.”
