LAHORE:

Jamaat-i-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch has demanded that the Punjab government appoint science teachers to the Government Najaf High School, Gulberg.

“If a school with such a high reputation in Lahore lacks science teachers, what is the situation in village schools?” he said in a press statement, released after a meeting with concerned parents.

He criticised the Punjab government, saying that while it was handing out free laptops and opening Danish schools, it had left basic issues such as the lack of science teachers unaddressed.

Baloch said that the education minister, education secretary and executive district officer for education should find science teachers for all schools where they were needed.

But we have more than sufficient Madrassa teacher that JI and Saudis supplied. This can fulfill science teacher's demand as they know everything on earth, everything is in our 'book' so why to stress science.
