‘Creating national unity’: MQM delegation meets PML-N leaders
The MQM delegation comprised of the party’s Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar, Federal Ports and Shipping Minister Senator Babar Ghauri and Senator Tahir Mashhadi.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Dr Sattar said that the agenda of the meeting was to discuss Pakistan’s security and stability. “We discussed the current situation of the country, and also forwarded MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s concerns about the internal and external threats being faced by Pakistan.”
Reiterating Hussain’s statements, Dr Sattar said that the security and stability of Pakistan will be in grave danger if the current law and order situation prevails.
“We are working on a national agenda,” he added.

What a bias reporting of ET, if PTI did this the title may not the same but like this "Foe to Friend".
First , I dislike Ishaq Dar. He has always let Punjab down , be it with the way he signed up to anti-Punjab clauses in 18th amendment or the way he is cooperating with PPP to break Punjab.
Secondly , I dislike mqm even more (no matter what that egomaniac Hasan Nisat says about then ).
Anyway , this is just Doing the rounds and bidding it's price up for PPP to pay more attention ( read pay money ) to them

Did I really hear Mr.Ishaq Dar saying that mentality of both parties is same! Is it a U-turn or his highness Mr.Nawaz Sharif has made the 'u-turn' straight in Jeddah manufacturing company & now going straight?
@salman: its politics and PML-N never goes against the tide,they will even talk with PTI when its right for them,as far PTI vs OTHERS goes it's if that happens PTI is nothing even establishment(ARMY) will be gone,(PPP,PML-N,PML-Q,MQM,ANP) have 304 of 340 seats in NA.It is almost impossible for that alliance to be formed because most of your politicians want good at following instruction rather than giving them.So,we don't live in a perfect world PML-N says that they are party of principle and that is biggest lie,I don't like PPP sometime even after being supporter,but at least they they have dignity to fight for what they think is right,sometimes i don't agree with them they don't say "we right you wrong".every political party have right to talk with each other and somebody else to to cry over that.I dont accept perfect political system after coup after coup ,I recommend you to do same. it takes time to make things perfect,you shouldn't be naive to accept four year old democracy to be like 60-100 year old democracy.
@Saqib: they try to inject that clause but PPP refused it by saying that MQM also have people's mandate,so it is not fair to just boycott them,even i dont like MQM but they have people's mandate and you have to respect that.

If we recall, MQM at that time too had said that if PMLN is of the view to boycott MQM & never go for reconciliation then it should give it in writing.
MQM knew from the beginning that nothing is last in politics, everyone have to sit together in some point of time. It was the wise decision of Ms. Benazir who had rejected the idea of boycotting MQM.

MQM leaders are meeting with each & every party representatives of the country including PPP, PMLN, PTI, JI, ANP, ST, PKMAP, JUI etc. Are they having muk-muka with everyone? What muk-muka they would have? They are working on an open agenda of uniting the nation. It should not be attempted to malign.

So Babar Ghauri, I am assuming is a descendant of Sher Shah Ghori from Ghor, Afghanistan and Tahir Mashhadi is from Mashhad, Iran? Hmmmm interesting.

After Accusing PTI of having alliance with MQM, PMLN are now doing the same? I fail to see why you think what PMLN are doing that is so much better? Should PMLN not be judged by thier OWN standards?

Anchors who were showing clips of IK and Shiekh rasheed what they said about eachother should now show clips of Nawaz Sharif and Choudry Nisar what they used to say about MQM. A resolution was passed by PMLN in all parties conference in LONDON that they will not talk to MQM and now got invitation to 9 sero by MQM and Ishaq Dar said their views are same.
So here is the thing:
1) Political parties reconcile always, and hence are trying to keep the nation as "one" block. 2) Military forces are out there to prevent the nation from tearing off apart, keeping it "one" and safe from all threats. 3) Religious parties resolve the issues to bring up the harmony among the nation (as portrayed apparently), hence also keeping it as "one" block.
...and the list goes on with other institutions as well.
So the only people left behind (the nation) love to kill each other, encroach beyond their limits and do illegal things.
One sees almost every institution going for a "peace" conference or speaking in the favor of upholding "harmony and peace", but still this "peace" is not happening.
