PESHAWAR: Rescue workers have managed to recover a man alive from the debris of a collapsed building in Peshawar early Tuesday morning, Express News reported.

According to the report, rescue workers pulled Bilal, in an injured state from the house. He was administered first aid before being shifted to the nearby Lady Reading hospital for further treatment.

The roof of the house had caved in following rains in the city. At least seven people are reportedly trapped under the debris.

Rescue workers are finding it difficult to look for survivors in the debris due to the lack of heavy machinery.

Recently, a man was killed and three others had sustained serious injuries when the roof of a workshop they were in collapsed on top of them near Liaquatpur.
